444 Stainless Steel is one of Ferritic stainless steel with extra-low C & N, having excellent corrosion resistance by adding Mo and stabilized Ti or Nb contents so that some of its property is better than 304 stainless steel even 316.

● Features

1. Magnetic, ferritic stainless steel without Ni and Mo, but with high Cr.
2. Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and chloridion pitting and crevice corrosion.

3. Good inter-granular corrosion & elevated temperature oxidation resistance due to add Ti, Nb, Zr.
4. High thermal conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion.

5. Excellent flexibility, formability, drawability and bendability.

● Applications

Water treatment equipment: hot water tank, wine or drink storage; heat exchanger; Solar heat collector plates and Food processing equipment etc.
